This is the trailer for the short film ‘Thornton Heath Poltergeist’ which some of the cast and director will be coming in to interview for the show.

This advert that we created is going to be placed in the middle show like they usually do in other TV shows.

Location Recce
The TV Studio is a fairly large space and there are certain healthy and safety procedures that need to be put into place. Lots of different equipment is going to be used for this VT, from camera cranes to different lighting set ups. Its very important for everyone working in this area to make sure they are aware of whats going on and the potential risks it has to them if they don’t adhere to whats taking place.
One of the main fire exits we have in the building is pictured below and as you can see is very often blocked by stacks of chairs and other things in the studio that are not needed. Before the show starts, anything blocking a clear entrance to the exit must be moved 
before proceeding and stored somewhere else to allow it to be kept clear at all times. This is very much high priority.
As we are using a lot of equipment, there are also going to be a lot of cables lying around on the floor. We are using floor lighting which all of the cables will have to be taped to the floor, and a cable basher will be needed for any camera intending to move.
The studios dimensions are 10m by 10m which means it is a suitable space for us to film in as it will allow plenty of room for the RuPauls drag race walkway. The studio also has lots of great lighting opportunities with two lighting desks; one operating the main house lighting and the other controlling moving lights. Its also very convenient for us to do this VT in the TV studio as there are already three camera in their which we will use to film. Shooting in this space is just great as everything we need to film it is already provided for us, which allows us to concentrate on the set design and the planning for the whole VT. We also have the opportunity to use the camera crane which will allow us to get some great moving shots for the drag race.
