Location Recce –

In this there is little to no noise pollution, due to it being part of a park. This makes it an ideal open place for us to film in as all of our scenes are generally quiet.
There are no power sources so we will need to bring our own portable chargers or extra battery packs for the cameras.
unnamedThere are very few health and safety risks here apart from the fact that there is a small slope which leads down to a river to the right of this path. To ensure safety, no crew or equipment will be allowed to be close to the edge of the slope. There is access to toilets, shelter and shops near by if any of this is required. It doesn’t exactly matter where the sun is in the sky, as all of the places we are filming in are surrounded by trees and having different shadow effects from various angles will just add to the effect of the film.

The ground here is moderately flat so all of the equipment and crew will be situated here.

unnamed (1).pngIn this are it is less covered by trees so it matters more where the sun is to ensure that there is light at all times. There are no power sources so we will need to bring our own portable chargers or extra battery packs for the cameras. There is access to toilets, shelter and shops near by if any of this is needed. There is no real health and safety risk here as the ground is basically flat and all this scene we require is someone walking past the camera.

There are no real filming issues here apart from this place is a public area so we will have to ensure that no members of the public appear in our film.

unnamed (2).pngIn this area it is very shady so it doesn’t matter where the sun is as long as we have enough light to film.
No power sources are present so we will need to bring our own portable chargers or extra battery packs for the cameras. There is access to toilets, shelter and shops near by if any of this is needed at any point. This filming location is moderately small and dark so we will only have 1 or 2 people here at a time to ensure that the location doesn’t get overcrowded, which could lead to an accident.
There are a few health and safety risks here which include that there are stairs which a crew member could fall down or trip up potentially with equipment on them. Also if the floor is damp, then the stone will become slippery and could end in someone falling over.

In this place there is little to no noise pollution, due to it being part of a park.
There is also a lot of trees in this area meaning that there is never too much light pollution on the set, so it doesn’t exactly matter what time of the day we go at.
There are no power sources so we will need to bring our own portable chargers or extra battery packs for the cameras There is access to toilets, shelter and shops near by if any of this is needed at any point.

There are no real health and safety risks here apart from the steps that can be seen in the picture (above), the steps are made of wood so if damp can become slippery.
The ground in this location is stone and wood, both of these when wet can become a slipping hazard so only 3 members of the crew will be here at one time. The only proper filming issue is that it is in public.

Due to this last scene being in a cemetery, It will be extremely quiet and because of the trees also shady. There are no power sources so we will need to bring our own portable chargers or extra battery packs for the cameras. There are a few health and safety risks here, there is a river right next to the cemetery with a low wall meaning that if someone is not looking where they are going then they could possibly fall over the wall. This will be made clear to all members of the crew and people will be made to stay at a certain distance from the edge of the wall to ensure that nobody hurts themselves.

Another risk is worn down grave stones which could be made hard to see by moss and potentially be a tripping hazard. To tackle this, all members of the crew will be told to stay on the path. The last risk is that the floor is covered in leaves which if wet can become slippery. Realistically we cant exactly avoid stepping on leaves so we will just have to ensure that all members of the crew are advised to step carefully and are wearing the correct footwear.

unnamed (4).png
This location has a wide path so all members of the crew will be able to be in this area at once. Once more the only proper filming issue is the fact that it is once again a public place and so we would need to ensure that there are no members of the public in our film.
